The Acadia School of Traditional Music & Arts is proud to welcome violinist and multi-style fiddler Seán Heely to Mount Desert Island. 

Mr. Heely will perform a concert entitled “The Maine Connection: Celtic and French Folk Traditions” on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church in Bar Harbor. The Conners Emerson School's grade 3-8 string students, the Swallowtail Fiddlers, and fifth grade French students will be special guests at this performance.

Seán Heely will spend the day in Bar Harbor, coaching the Conners Emerson School string orchestra and Swallowtail Fiddlers. This educational opportunity is made possible by The Acadia School of Traditional Music and Arts, financial support from by the Mount Desert Island Educational Enhancement fund.
